It's been a tough road for ABC's recently cancelled shows Body of Proof and Happy Endings. Body of Proof had been trending upward with an average of 11 million viewers this season, and it now seems as if Dana Delany's crime drama may have a second shot on cable.
Deadline reports that ABC Studios is actively working to find the show a new home. TNT and USA are likely contenders to revive the series, but they are also in talks with Tribune's WGN America, which is looking to expand its original programming.
As for Happy Endings, well, Sony is still shopping the critically acclaimed comedy to other networks. USA is rumored for that one, but TBS is also a possibility considering the cabler picked up ABC's other underperforming sitcom Cougar Town last year. At this point, though, nothing is certain for Happy Endings.
