Could the author behind Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter be taking on the oft-rumored Gremlins reboot?
According to Bloody-Disgusting, Seth Grahame-Smith is doing precisely that. The horror site claims he will produce the remake along with his partner David Katzenberg, but they're not clear if Grahame-Smith will script the new film as well.
In addition to his work as an author, Grahame-Smith also penned the scripts for Dark Shadows and Beetlejuice 2.
Last we'd heard, Steven Spielberg and his Amblin company, which produced the original 1984 film, reportedly entered into early negotiations with Warner Bros. last winter to reboot the franchise.
