The Special Edition of Beyond: Two Souls will contain an additional 30 minute "playable scene", Sony has announced.

The Special Edition, which will be available through pre-order only, will contain:
- Exclusive steel book premium packaging
- Additional playable scene (30 mins gameplay)
- Behind the scenes videos
- Game soundtrack
- PS3 Dynamic Theme
- PSN Avatar Bundle
There is currently no further information on what the extra scene is or how crucial it is to the game's plot.
