If you're in Chicago, it's time to prepare your spandex, fill your wallet with cash, and head down to McCormick... Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) kicks off today. IGN will in attendance, reporting from the show and helping to run panels in the IGN Theater all day Saturday.
There's a lot of great stuff happening at the show, but we chiseled it down to the ten things editors in attendance do not want to miss! If you can't be at the show, keep track of all the fun on IGN's C2E2 hub.
Jason David Frank Talks Power Rangers
- When: Friday, 2:45-3:45

- What: Jason David Frank is the ultimate Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger.. he has appeared in more episodes of the series than anyone else, in addition to both Power Rangers movies. Come hang with JDF and you might just see Comics Editor Joey Esposito soaking in the atmosphere. Oh, who am I kidding? He will be the first one at the Q&A mic.
Felicia Day Q&A
- When: Friday, 6:30-7:30
- Where: W471
- What: The creator, writer and star of The Guild is near and dear to many a Con-fan's heart, and if previous panels are any indication, this one will be awesome! Season six is over but fans will get a chance to hear what's in store and find out more about everything Felicia.
Maniac Screening
- When: Friday, 8:15-10:00
- Where: W474
- What: The gritty horror remake is coming to theaters in June, but here's your chance to see it first! Elijiah Woods stars as a serial killer in this bloody retelling of William Lustig's 1980 film. Produced by Alexandre Aja, directed by Frank Khalfoun, and starring Megan Duffy, this is a no-miss opportunity for fans of vicious horror. Not for all tastes... it's scalp-tastic!
Age of Ultron
- When: Saturday, 11:00-12:00
- Where: W471
- What: Arune Singh, Brandon Peterson, Ellie Pyle, Rick Remender, and Tom Brevoort take the stage to discuss the latest Marvel mega-event. It's an Ultron free-for-all!
Patton Oswalt Q&A
- When: Saturday, 12:30-1:30
- Where: IGN Theater
- What: Patton Oswalt's done it all--from stand-up to starring roles in TV shows and movies--so there's a lot of ground to cover! Grab a KFC Bowl, bring your questions and join the discussion about everything from stand-up to Ratatouille to Young Adult to Big Fan to Blade Trinity. Yep... could go there.
Batman Q&A
- When: Saturday, 2:00-3:00
- Where: IGN Theater
- What: The 1966 Batman TV series holds a special place in many comic fans' hearts, and Saturday at C2E2, those fans will get an opportunity to chat with Robin and Catwoman in person when Burt Ward and Julie Newmar take the stage. Holy nostalgia, Batman!
Batman/Superman 101
- When: Saturday, 2:45-3:45
- Where: W471
- What: Need to get schooled on how to get into comics... or more specifically, DC Comics? Look no further than this panel, featuring Chris Burnham, James Tynion IV, Jimmy Palmiotti, John Cunningham, John Layman, and Kenneth Rocafort. They'll walk attendees through the best place to dive into the mythology for both of these iconic heroes. Even if you aren't new to DC, there is sure to be a lot of awesome Bats/Supes discussion.
Ron Perlman Q&A
- When: Saturday, 3:30-4:30
- Where: IGN Theater
- What: Ron Perlman has put his distinctive stamp on tons of pop culture awesomeness--from Hellboy to Sons of Anarchy to the upcoming Pacific Rim, he is a prolific actor and all-around badass. Head down to the IGN Theater to hear him talk about past roles and all the new stuff he's got cooking.
Comedy Mutant
- When: Sunday, 5:00-6:00
- Where: IGN Theater
- What: Comedy great Brian Posehn, Myq Kaplan from Last Comic Standing and former IGN employee (and current Jimmy Fallon writer) Mike Drucker sling laffs in a tag-team stand-up performance. Not to be missed.
Chad Coleman: Zombie Talk

- What: Fans of AMC's The Walking Dead, here's the panel for you! Tyreese is getting an expanded role on the show going forward, and Chad Coleman will be on hand to talk about his role on TWD, and the rest of his career.
