Ever wanted the chance to ask a tech executive about their daily life, or how they got a career start, over a cup of coffee? Normally, the idea of grabbing a cup of joe with Apple's Tim Cook would be a fairly difficult task. But as reported by The Next Web, if you have the cash for a hearty donation, you could spend the better part of an hour chatting with a CEO.
Cook has apparently donated 30 to 60 minutes of his time for a one-on-one coffee break to the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. The auction is part of an annual drive by the RFK Center, which features meet-ups with other celebrities like Alec Baldwin and Robert DeNiro.
While the Charitybuzz site lists the coffee chat with Cook at an estimated value of $50,000, the top bid as of this writing is $180,000. The top bid apparently belongs to Clearcrate, a maker of third-party protective cases for Apple products. The auction ends in 19 days.
