Blockade Entertainment is coming on strong with video game adaptations. Just this morning the company announced they would be releasing an animated adaptation of Ratchet and Clank to theaters in 2015. Blockade is also developing an animated Heavenly Sword movie, based on the PlayStation 3 game developed by Ninja Theory.
Fringe's Anna Torv will voice Nariko with Alfred Molina as King Bohan, and--Punisher himself--Thomas Jane as Loki. Todd Farmer, writer of Jason X, My Bloody Valentine and Drive Angry, is handling script duties, with Brad Foxhoven and David Wohl producing for Blockade.
We'll have more news on this title as it develops.
