A new documentary about sexism in gaming called GTFO: A Film About Women in Gaming, has now been fully funded via Kickstarter.
According to filmmaker Shannon Sun-Higginson, GTFO explores "the harassment of women in video games" and features interviews and insights from various gamers, bloggers, scholars, developers, and experts. Check out the video below for a sneak peek at the film:
"Thanks to all the generous backers out there, we were fully funded as of last night! Thank you to everyone who pledged and spread the word! From $1 to $500, all of you made a difference," Sun-Higginson said in a statement. "I'm excited to get this project really going."
As of right now, GTFO has raised over $24,000 of its $20,000 goal. Funding for the project closes on May 10.
